CREATING A GRAND ENTRANCE
PROJECT BACKGROUND
This design & build project included removing all of the existing landscaping in front of this home, except for the beautiful maple tree at the corner of the house which serves as a prominent fixture in this landscape design. We also completely removed the existing porch pavers and replaced them with all new block from Unilock and included LED under-step lighting.
Yews line the front faces house as evergreen foundation plantings. We maintained the symmetrical look of the house layout with Dwarf Alberta Spruce and Blue Point Junipers anchoring the corners of the porch and garage face. A boxwood hedge lines the front of the garage, and meanders through the front landscape beds. Double knockout rose bushes add a splash of color in the center bed, accented by large stone outcroppings.
